Peter and Tracy were informing us yesterday that after a while on your Christmas tree trunk it forms these big sap bubbles and you can pop them or scrap them with a dull knife and the PINE scent will fill the air!! LOL!
So…. I’m taking down our Christmas stuff today and decide to try it. I found a HONKEN bubble and proceed to scrape downward on it. It BURSTS and shoots sap in my left eye! I thought I was going to loose my eye!!! It hurt sooooo bad!! Seriously! Brian was trying to figure out what was going on. I was crying like a baby! Ran to the sink to flush my eye. It didn’t start to ease up until 20 mins. later. Its still stinging (hour later).
Word of caution: If you want to try this…. be sure to look the other way! But it does work.

Spring, I’m SOOOOOOOO sorry you had that experience. I noticed that some of them squirt, but I was never close enough to have it get my eye. If you cut it from the bottom, they will drip down better. I hope your eye feels better!!!

Please take care of this family and all their weird antics. Please keep them safe from all sap pimples. Please let them listen more carefully as well being that Tracy and Peter did say to be careful of getting the sap in your eye as it may hurt. Amen

Oh Spring. I’m sorry I have to admit I was laughing hysterically when reading this. I have gotten sap in my eye and it hurts soooo bad but your story was too funny!! Thanks fr sharing. I need the laugh, sorry it was at your eye’s expense.
Glad people are getting a laugh out of this!!! LOL. It really did hurt though. You would not be laughing if you popped a big one in your eye! 🙂
