Blogger has a certain amount of space that I can put pictures up. I keep getting this message you are currently using 1022MB (99%) of your 1024MB, when I try to post a picture. So it looks like I used it all up. Weird because I have friends that have been using blogger for YEARS and they still post pictures and things. Maybe blogger just doesn’t like me! Ha! I can pay to have more space, although I think I want to see what Brian comes up with first!
Although I have lots of things we have been doing lately and want compile it all here on the blog, I won’t be able to. Please keep checking back though. Brian is doing an AWESOME job at creating a blog for a client and when he gets it complete we can use the code (+ some) for our family site. This way I can do it all myself and won’t have to have limits on what I post etc…. I enjoy blogging and recording all our memories…. however for the time being (maybe a couple weeks) I won’t be able to post much.
We’ve been very busy working on our kitchen project. Stripping, sanding, staining, and finishing the cabinets and drawers. Lots of work, but we are hoping it will be well worth the effort in the end! I will try to post BEFORE and AFTER pictures or a link to share 🙂
We went blueberry picking today (Hope, Abigail, Tracy, Faith, Blake, and I). Hoping to make some blueberry syrup with all the ones I got! Lots of fun. And I got cute pictures! Also the boys are having a DRIVE IN NIGHT at Awana this week, so they have been making cute Cars out of card-board boxes!
Weird about the pictures. I post a lot of pics and have had my blog for over a year… do you shrink them down first, so they don’t use up as much space???
No I don’t. Don’t know how to do that quickly!
I usually just open the pictures (before going to the blog), resize by half (after cropping out whatever excess stuff on the sides), then do a “save as” and name it. Then when I open the blog and go to “add an image” or “browse” I see the renamed pictures all ready for me to load up. It still takes awhile to load them, but not so long as before you shrink them!
I checked and am only using 7% of mine, so there must be something wrong with blogger if it says you’re using 99%!
