We haven’t been keeping up much with the Summer reading program. Partly due to Fillmore not giving us the little chart we needed to start. While in Camarillo today we went to their VERY HUGE library. It was very nice! The boys just loved picking out books. We finally got the chart and have begun filling it in. After so many hours of reading they get to pick prizes, which is lots of fun. The boys thought the self check out was really cool too. The best part is, we can return them here in Fillmore after having them for 3 weeks! They have a lot of neat AUDIO books too. Will be nice for our vacation this Summer!

I have heard that it is really nice now. Don’t you just love summer reading programs? Our library has an event for kids once per week in the summer also. Today, it was a mad scientist show. Next week it is reptiles.
I went in that library once after it was done and before we moved….wow, what a difference from the other teeny tiny one! They had outgrown it so long ago…I can’t think of many better places to hang around near home for summer vacation! I always love the library!
I definitely want to check out that library. I moved shortly before it opened up so I am excited to see what it looks like. I think I still have my Camarillo library card somewhere…wonder if it still works!
