We did the blood tests Tuesday and had my first Dr. appt. this afternoon. Everything is going great! I’m 5 + weeks and my due date is MAY 3rd! We will get to find out the sex of the baby the week before Christmas! What a fun Christmas present! The one thing she wants me to do is get my asthma under control! I’m going to see a family Dr. she recommends tomorrow and hopefully get something to help! I’ve been coughing an awful lot! I go for my first Ultra sound next week.
Here I am at 5 weeks pregnant. I’m not sure I’ll keep posting these monthly pictures or not. Depends! I’m not one of those “cute” pregnant people! At least I don’t think so!
3rd MUNCHKIN is in there, we just can’t tell yet!!I told her I really didn’t want to have to rush to the hospital like I did with the two boys because of LOW Amniotic fluid. She gave me a few things to do (like lots of water, and LOTS of rest) to help with that. I’m going to try! I really want to do a lot of labor at home and then just go in to pop out the baby! 🙂

Here is what the baby would look like inside me at around 5 weeks. Baby is still just over a millimeter long. You might say that your baby is about the size of a small grain of rice! at 5 weeks the central nervous system, muscles, bones and even the heart will begin to form. Early skeletal development is also possible at or around pregnancy week 5.
