Lots of fun memories tonight. As I sit here (feet killing me from being on them all day) I just reflect back on this month. Goodness how it just FLEW by! Is it because I’m getting older or what?? But it just goes so fast!! Seems like we were just pulling out all the decor. and starting the season, and now its almost over?! The boys are all snug in their beds and hopefully having visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads….. They set out the reindeer food and Santa’s milk and cookies and are very excited about Christmas morning (that will soon be here before we know it).
Christmas Eve is always at our house for my side of the family. We do the “sibling” gift exchange this night! We all chip in and bring finger food type stuff. We always have too much fun but a nice variety of yummy things!

Every year we like to take time to remember WHY we are celebrating. Brian, Gregory and I read from a little book about the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus was born to die for us. He’s our Savior and we hold that close to our hearts and love to talk about HIM! A friend of mine wrot “He’s not a baby in a manger any more. He’s not a broken man on the cross. He didn’t stay in the grave and He’s not staying in heaven forever! Jesus is coming” and we can be excited for that day! I know I am! 🙂
Tonight we did something really fun too we played a game show. Brian did up a huge slide show type game, with a wide variety of Christmas questions (some even included music, where we had to sing the rest of the song…. super fun….) We had two teams WISE FOKES and SHEPERDS.
The little ones were proud to give gifts out!Thanks Abigail for the back washer thingy 🙂
