The weather is really nice today! Adam and I cleaned up all the fallen leaves and oranges in the sand box today and he’s loving playing in the sand once again!
Gregory stayed out of school today because he wasn’t feeling well so he is spending some time resting, cartoons and drawing! I’m mighty impressed with his latest drawing, I’ll have to post a picture when he’s all done with it !
Seems like we’ve all been super busy over the past few weeks. I’ve been spending a lot of time going through drawers and cleaning out stuff so that when its time to move we don’t have so much stuff to go through! We hope and pray that we hear some news on our house offer very soon. The bank is dragging it’s feet for sure! Can’t wait to see how God is gonna work in our lives!
Brian has been super busy with work lately and then now that he does web design on the side he’s been working early mornings and some evenings to get jobs done. We feel very blessed though with these side jobs coming in, always comes just when we need the work too! God is good and we just can’t imagine going through this earthly life without Him!
Together we’ve been reading a book called “Trusting God, even when life hurts” and it is a really great book. I loved this quote that I recently read in that book, “If we are to honor God by trusting Him, and if we are to find peace for ourselves, we must come to the place where we can honestly say “God, I do not have to understand. I will just trust You.” I think having a trust in God gives us a peace, a peace that no one else can experience unless they truly know the Lord and I’m thankful for joy and peace!
Adam, you were so funny on the phone tonight! We loved hearing from you…we’ll try to call this weekend and talk to both you and Gregory while you are at the cabin. We hope you get some snow while you are there!
