We went and volunteered for a free ultra Sound. The Crisis pregnancy nurses needed to do so many training scans. We thought it was an opportunity to help out and get to see our little one! They measured the baby to be 11 weeks and 6 days. I was suposedly 12 weeks on Tuesday April 28th. So they seem to be pretty close!
The baby was sooo cute! He/she was so active and flipping and moving all over the place. It was so cute to watch on the screen! Brian and I especially loved seeing the heart beat (170 by the way), and the legs stretching out and seeing the cute little feet! It was the most precious thing! The boys got to come with us too so they could see their little sibling! It was very special. I only wish I would have got video to post, it was just so cute to see the movements of such a small little baby! About 2 inches long! I go for my dr. appt. tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.

there is an old wive’s tale about the heart rate and the sex of the baby. High rate 140 girl; under 140 boy. BUT that isn’t TRUE. Abigail was under 140…and she ain’t no boy! LOL Cute picture a video would have been cute…maybe next time. When do you get another ultrasound? I was told I’d get one at 8 wk and 20.
Never heard that Hope. The last U/s with this one was 159 at 8 weeks and this one was 170 12 weeks. I don’t remember what the boys were. I’m more into “numbers ” this time I guess. 🙂
God knows what it is! We would love to be surprised, but with so many others knowing, it surely would spill out before November!

I wasn’t going fully by heartrate (it wasn’t true at all with Caleb and Jilly but was with my others). I have a few other ways I base my guesses on. Highly secret. 😉 HAHA
Heartrate can play a part though. Not so much in the early months but in the later ones.
