We are expecting! NOPE no APRIL FOOLS JOKE!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting a new little baby November 11, 2009. Two days before Adam’s 6th Birthday. We decided to keep quiet for a few weeks about this one, since it was a “surprise” to us and soon after our loss. We actually weren’t going to mention the baby to anyone until we got to 12 weeks, but my dad reminded me that there is no guarantee no matter how far along I am. God is in control and we put our trust in Him and in Him alone! God is good and we are blessed to have this little one and are praying for a healthy little baby in November!! Plus by telling those of you who are brothers and sisters in Christ, we can count on you lifting our little one up in prayer! What a comfort that is to us!

We went in for the first ultra sound on April 1, 2009 and they were able to see the little one right away and a strong beating heart of 159! Almost an inch long. The little dark spot at the top of the head is where the brain will be, then the body curves around and you can see the tip of the “tail end”. CLICK the picture to enlarge and get a better look!


We did tell the boys tonight and we did it in a sort of special way. We got a treat for dinner since my head is killing me (Happy meal as they call it)…. and I put a picture of the baby inside each of their meals and as soon as Gregory opened it he says “you are gonna have a baby”. Adam looked puzzled and then figured it all out. They are both sooo thrilled and Adam is especially happy it will be born close to his Birthday!

All my Beta blood tests they did were super good and high levels.

I’ve been having extreme headaches for 4-5 days in a row now and it turned to a migraine on Tuesday night and the throbbing continues on throughout today. I did get in to the chiropractor today and got a really good adjustment but my head hasn’t felt the affects yet. We shall see. I’m thinking it might have to do with hormones? My dr. appt is Friday so I do hope to ask some questions.

    Spring your betas are very awesome!!! I have a really good feeling this time. The headaches are probably a good sign. I had major headaches while pg with AJ and he is my healthiest kid to date.
