We got an email this morning and all the seller’s documents have been signed! Horray… well, not quite. There always seems to be a “but” and we were not let down this time. The Short Sale Approval letter expired Sunday, May 10 and there needs to be an updated letter. No one can get a hold of anybody to do that so we are one piece of paper short of closing.
I wish someone could just get some white-out and change that, but I guess that wouldn’t really work all too well. Everything else is done, but this one letter. As soon as they get it, they will fund our loan and we will close the next day… that is of course unless something else expires, or gets lost or someone spills coffee on some documents, etc…

or, in like in our case, you are just ABOUT to FINALLY get the keys & the county clerk in the recorder's office is just about to record the sale & make it final when she decides that 2 pieces of paper in a 14 pg document are too light & informs you of this on a friday after the court house closes. So you are not kidding when you ask if it will ever end!!! (but YES, it WILL!!)
Oh man . . .so close. you guys are really getting a lesson in patience, huh!
