I repainted the bassinet today. I had done some stencil on it before Gregory was born and wanted to just make it plain. This is pretty old, and I’m not sure how old. My Mom got it from Peggy Bartels (and she had used it with her two girls Marjie & Sally), and I’m not sure where she got it. My Mom used this with all of us kids.
I think Adam stayed in our room in the bassinet until he was about 6 month (rolling over stage). I really love having them in our room while they are so little! Always hate to see them move up to the crib and then bed! It’s a little bigger than most bassinets you can buy these days. I love the blanket Tracy (Peter’s wife) made for the baby. It’s so perfect! I kind of hope it will be his favorite one too!
We’ve had to do repair work a couple times on it, in a few areas, but its held together nicely.
