This whole week we’ve been having lots of rain around us! We love rain here! So nice to not have a HUGE water mess to be cleaning up too! At our old house we had MAJOR flooding issues in the basement, so its nice to not have to deal with that. And our ONE leak on the house we got fixed before this huge rain!

We are a little bummed because we had planned our little 4 day trip up to Sacramento (leaving yesterday) but the grapevine has been closed and this is really not TRAVEL weather. We finally came to that conclusion last night. Grandma Jessup and Dave are there now and we are missing visiting with everyone, but God just had other plans for us! We’ll just have to arrange visiting another time, when there is NO rain in the forecast!

If its clear tomorrow we may head up to Mt. Pinos and do some sledding and fun in the snow with the boys since they were so bummed about our trip!

We started a roaring fire in our fire place, we’ll see if this time the smoke stays OUT of the living room! Someone told us to get it really going, so we’ll see!
