Talking with my good friend on the phone this morning about Little House. Her daughter is reading the books right now and I wanted to share with her some of the replica things I have. My mom gave me the glass doll that looks like the one that Caroline would set on her mantle, and the Charlot doll looks like the one Laura had growing up. I love that era in time and also have a covered wagon that I set next to the Charlot doll on top of our entertainment center. Sometimes I think it would be fun to go back in time and live during those Prairie days! I know, it would be hard work, but might be neat to live back in time for a short while 🙂
I think the show is one of the best on TV, and over the years I’ve collected the series and we re-watch them all the time!
Wish Emilee was close because I made a scrapbook with lots of REAL LIFE pictures from Laura and her family, and I have a book with pictures in it too. Fun stuff!
