It was a long tiring day today. Luke is in a lot of pain with his ear infection. We were up a lot in the night, the past two nights. Basically I’ve been holding him for the past two days. He just wants Mommy when he’s not feeling well. We are praying he feels better through the night.
However, today ended with a nice family Friday. Luke actually sat in his saucer and watched Baby Songs while the rest of us did two 3D toy story puzzles and then Brian concluded our Psalms 1 study.
I loved our discussions and I love to see the wheels turning in both Gregory and Adam’s head! We talked about Believers being rooted in God’s word and that we can produce good fruit in our lives, unlike the unbelievers who are like chaff which the wind drives away. The chaff is the part of the wheat that is useless and blows away in the wind. The unbeliever don’t have roots and is just blown into the wind. Believers are to stand firm in the scripture, and grow in our knowledge of Him!
At the end of this world the ones who do not know Christ will not be able to withstand God’s wrath (Revelation 20: 11-15). Unrepentant sinners will be thrown into the lake of fire as punishment for their sins. The believer is forgiven of his sins and does not receive that penalty because Christ already paid the debt when He went to the cross.
This concluded our Psalms one study and we loved the discussion this brought up about our life here, our witness, friends and family who don’t know the Lord as Savior, and our prayer & Bible study life
