sniff… sniff….
Luke Samuel had his last night in our room in the bassinet. I don’t know why its so hard this time to see my baby grow up and move on to other things. Is it because he’s my third? Is it because I realize with Gregory and Adam how time just goes so quick? Is it because I’m getting older and time just goes so fast? Is it because God is helping me take in every moment with my kids more these days? Is it because Luke will be my last baby (I sure hope not) Is it because I lost three babies before I got pregnant with Luke and I’m just not taking him for granted?
Whatever it may be, I know that I’m enjoying my sweet little baby every single day and I’m just more emotional to see the lasts come and go. Not just with Luke, but Gregory and Adam too. They are all true blessings to Brian and I and we cherish them so much and never want to take my children for granted!

We figured at 7 1/2 months he needed to move up to the crib and out of our room, since yesterday at 2 AM he was found SITTING UP in the bassinet wanting us to come get him for a “mid-night” snack! So its dangerous now. He’s also getting to big, too long (as you can see)!
It's amazing that he lasted so long in there! 🙂 You are blessed. I had to move my kids by 4mths, though Savannah stayed with us until 6mths, but we had to put her in a pack and play instead of cradle- too dangerous as they start moving more and pulling themselves up! 🙂 You did the right thing- how's he doing now "on his own"?
