Brian and I have really been enjoying the foggy mornings and now the rainy days! Today was actually cool enough to try out our fire place! We paid to have it cleaned this Summer and bought a new rack for the inside. We do have gas that can help us get the fire going. This one turned out pretty good, though the wood is wet some from the rain so we had to keep the gas going for a bit. I can’t wait to get really good at building a huge crackling fire. Now to find some cheap wood to stock pile in the back yard!? We do have a dead tree stump out back that we might try cutting up and making into fire wood pieces. Got to keep an eye on the littlest guy in the family, although today he didn’t go near the fire, only pointed at it.
