Not sure what it is about my family and Christmas tree’s this year!  Hope and Viktor had to return their tree because it dried up after just a couple of days.   Sure hope nothing goes wrong with Pop and Mom’s this year! 

We had a church work day, some stayed home for a work day at home, post office errands to mail cards and packages (huge line) and then running shopping  errands (NOT a day to go to the outlet mall for basketball shoes!! I thought we we had gone to Disneyland on the worst day ever, and no ride at the end, just money spent, grumpy kids, no good naps for Luke and all ready to go home!) Then we got home to our Christmas Tree stand leaking… all over our new carpet! Who knows how long its been leaking! There was a small crack next to a bolt.  Brian ran to Rite Aide and got another stand.  We had to transfer the tree.  Not easy with an 8 foot tree full of ornaments and lights.  We moved it to the corner of our living room so that we can dry out the carpet and clean up the mess.  

We are all pretty tired, ready to relax and watch a Christmas movie, once we get it all cleaned up! 

I don’t usually “vent” on this blog…. but thought I should “remember” this Christmas tree adventure.
