Things are going well so far with this pregnancy! I’ve even felt the little one move already.  Loved hearing his heartbeat last week at the Dr. I stay pretty tired most of the time.  Although, I do try really hard to lay down for a nap as soon as Luke goes for his afternoon nap.  Sometimes its just not long enough! I’m still nursing Luke three times during the day and I know that has a lot to do with me being hungry all the time and tired.  It just takes a lot out of me to nurse and be making a baby! Although, I haven’t started to wean any of those feedings yet.  In time I will.  I did wean the morning before nap feeding and now we read books and snuggle while he drinks some water or milk (he doesn’t care for milk much though!) Luke loves to be read to though and will start bringing me books around that time of the morning! Almost like he knows…. .”OK its nap time, lets get the routine started here…“

I think we will find out the sex of the baby closer to 20-22 weeks.  So only 10+ weeks to wait to see.  I’ve heard many stories of people who have gone sooner and heard it was a girl and then later the “parts” came down.  So we want to be sure to get a good shot so we know!  Although, I guess you never really KNOW until you see him/her on the birthday! We are excited for the “surprise” during the ultra sound.  We love our ultra sound tech too.  She’s a neighbor and really good at what she does and is super sweet! I’m kind of a planner so if it happens to be a girl it would be good to know so we can plan accordingly.  Plus we are going to be doing some “room rearranging” here in the near future to get ready for the baby, so it will be a blessing to know what we are having ahead of time.
