We never go to garage sales, although I think it would be fun. We just don’t have good ones in Fillmore! However, while driving home Brian spotted a stuffed Elmo doll laying by a tree.  He knew Luke was starting to really like ELMO.   He wanted me to get out and offer 50 cents for it. I got out and it was soaking wet. The lady said her daughter just sprayed it down with the hose. I said would you take 50 cents for it? Yup, she did!  So we brought it home and washed it up. I didn’t know until I pulled it from the washer all clean that it was an original tickle me Elmo doll (going for about $38 on amazon and more on eBay). So we dried him out and made him look like new. When Luke woke from his nap we gave it to him. He wasn’t that impressed at first. But as the day went on he’s been having more fun with him.

Tonight we put him to bed and he wanted Elmo. Brian and I were laughing because we could hear him jabbering away in there and constantly saying “mo mo mo mo” (Elmo).  This jabbering went on for over 1/2 hr.   I went in and caught him reading an ELMO book to Elmo. It was sooooo cute!! I was able to snap a shot!! Normally he won’t have ANY stuffed animal, blanket or anything near him when he sleeps. I’m wondering where Elmo will be later in the night 🙂
