34 weeks with #4 and Luke Samuel is 20 months!

LUKE SAMUEL
I can hardly believe my little Luke is 20 months! That’s almost TWO!! Wow! He points to his diaper now when he pee’s or poops sometimes.  Gregory did that this young too! Maybe he’ll train early like his oldest brother.  Not so sure though!

One super cute thing that Luke does in the morning (its a routine).  When Daddy and I go in to get him (lately its been before the big brothers are up and going) he’s sitting in his crib gathering as many stuffed animals as he can fit in his arms, and then wants us to get him out and take him in our bed.  There he snuggles for a bit and we play with the animals.  Sometimes he wakes after Brian has already left for work, and that can be pretty sad for Luke ! He’s constantly asking for Daddy.  We do “face time” from my phone and he LOVES that but will often motion for Daddy to come and then he points to his pillow.  Then after cuddle time he goes into the playpen for play time, Cheerios’s, and cartoon, while Mommy gets her Bible time in before the day begins.

A couple things that are hard to write without seeing them first hand that we LOVE is Luke motioning for one of us to come, he moves his fingers and says come.  Often times its to a certain person (Grey, A, Ma, or Da).  Sometimes he pats the floor if that is where we are to be or points to where we need to be.  Its super cute!

He’s a great little guy and we have a blast with him!

Night time we still snuggle, has a bottle sometimes, read books and then normally Daddy takes him into bed.  For naps its very similar.  I like routine and think kids really need routine! He’s down to just an afternoon nap now.  Normally 12-3:30, or sometimes 1- 3:30.  He’s get tired earlier because I think he still needs a morning cat nap but vacation and vbs sort of messed him up on that! Hopefully I’ll eventually get Gideon and Luke on the same afternoon nap schedule!

34 weeks
I have a friend who uses a mid-wife and takes some natural things in order to help with labor.   Here is a list of some of the things I’m doing this time around

Been drinking Rasberry Tea leaf for my last trimester.  I try to do a cup a day, suppose to do 2.  Did this with Luke too.
At 34 weeks : I’m starting to take Chlorophyll in my water a couple times a day.  This increases your blood’s capacity for iron and oxygen and aids in blood clotting during birth.
At 35 weeks I’m going to take  5-w it encourages toning contractions to facillitate an effecient labor.
At 37 weeks I will start taking Evening primrose.  I did this with Luke and really think it helped! It just softens the cervix.

I saw the Dr. today.  Baby’s heartbeat was 140 and she said he was an active one.  She didn’t have to tell me that.  I KNOW! He’s head down at the moment but will still move a lot until 37 weeks.  My blood sugar has been looking ok lately.  I need to get out and walk daily! I stay pretty tired and am starting to be more uncomfortable.  Kinda hoping he comes early! 🙂
