Gideon is getting to be a lot more alert and wide eyed! He does give us lots of smiles at times too, which is so cool. He’s very much a “Mommy’s boy” at this time and wants me to hold him when he’s awake. Not much for being put down when he’s awake, at least not for a long period of time.

Luke Samuel amazes us with how sweet he is to his new little brother. He’s actually a little helper! He is always bringing us the pacifier and his blanket. Always very concerned about the Baby or “Giddy” as he calls him. Wants to make sure we KNOW when he’s crying and makes sure we do something about it!

The only “sign” of Jealousy I saw was when Pop (my dad) was holding Gideon the other day and Luke really did NOT want Pop to be holding Gideon. Not sure why? But he was pretty upset about it.  I’m doing well.  I’m still pretty tired most days.  I’ve been told (by a few people) I’m doing too much and should take it easy.  I made dinner for the first time tonight since having Gideon.  It was a big dinner too, I was pretty much done after that! Its just a lot to learn to juggle two so close together, with fully nursing and with Gideon who loves to be held, and my house… which I love to try to keep clean.  I do LOVE my four boys, I’m just trying to learn how to work it all out and make things “run” smoothly in our family.  I’ve got to learn to say “no” even to good things and learn to not expect so much out of myself too.

Adam and Gregory are great helpers! Adam enjoys spending time with him right after school. Today Gideon got to try a bottle of my milk and he did very well with it.

Finally…. Daddy got him for a little cat-nap tonight!! 🙂
