Gideon Josiah is 5 months old today

His shirt says it all “SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE”  Yup, pretty much! We are so glad to be celebrating his 5 months of life today.  After last week, we sure are grateful he’s here and seems to be doing ok. Will be talking to the dr. today with questions about his medicine. 
We love you to pieces little Gideon.  Your shinny red hair is still here, and Mommy is still hoping it stays! A lot of people say you look just like Luke.  You do look a lot like him.  He’s your best buddy too! Luke and your two older brothers. YOU LOVE that LEFT THUMB! Its such a comfort to you.  It was in the hospital too.  Daddy and Mommy are thankful for it too! Lately Mommy has been nursing a lot more.  You seem to need it for comfort.  You laugh and smile a lot, its sooo adorable! We love your toothless grin.  Didn’t get many smiles today, but you give us a lot! Still sleep in the bassinet in with Daddy and Mommy.  Not ready to move in with big brother Luke yet and we aren’t ready to give up Luke’s crib yet either. 
Last week you weighed in at 15 lbs.  Gained a couple pounds in a couple weeks! I feel so bad that the Keppra has some side effects that make you tired, alert and kinda fussy at times.  Hoping it wears off soon and that we can take you off of it.  You are still in size #2 diapers, could probably move you to #3 soon.  You are wearing 3-6 month clothes and a lot of them used to be your brothers.
