Today we dedicated Gideon Josiah.   A dedication is more for the parents. A promise to raise the child up in the Lord. Then the congregation promises to pray for us and encourage us in this journey with the Lord! We praise the Lord for our awesome church family. Thank you everyone and also for my family for being there today.  Thanks to my Mom for having enough strength to come and for Peter and Tracy for driving up to be here! Love you guys!

Lord,
We pray that you will work in Gideon’s life and that you will draw him close to you. That we as parents can teach him in your ways. That we will Love you with all our heart, soul and might and that Gideon (and our other children) will see your love shinning through us. Give us wisdom in training up our children. Help us to teach them diligently day and night. We give Gideon Josiah to you all the days of his life.

We were blessed to share this special time with two other families who have little boys too.  The McCanns with their little Jasper and the Fredricksons with their little Owen.  All three of the boys are close in age (with in a month or two).  Thanks Viktor for snapping some pictures for us.
