*Last night Luke Samuel woke with terrible ear pain. Brian got up with him a couple times. One of the times Luke wanted to be closer to Daddy so he laid on his little tiny toddler bed. Today for nap he insisted upon sleeping on that bed, and again tonight (picture above) he wanted to be in his little bed. So we might be making the switch?! Who knows. Seems to be sort of up in the air with this kiddo! Tonight we read 6 books and then snuggled in. Gideon was waking so I rocked him. I heard little foot steps coming down the hall, I spoke up and said “you better be in that bed”. I then heard him scamper back and I caught him tucking himself back in. This happened a couple times and then he asked me to rub his back. I know his ear is bothering him because when he sleeps he grabs it. Hope he has a better night tonight.
*We got a call this afternoon from my Mom who had a friend that needed to get rid of FOUR dodger tickets. Field seats. Value per ticket was $115. Brian couldn’t pass it up, even though he was in the middle of a huge chicken coop re-build project. After much discussion I decided I needed to stay home with the littles. So glad I did since it’s kinda chilly out and Luke and Gideon are now both snug in bed and the guys aren’t even home yet. I think they’ve been enjoying it though. Although, Adam had some major “growing pains” while they have been sitting there. With all the growing pains this kid has, you’d think he would be at least SIX FEET tall by now!
* We went out window car shopping last night. Brian wanted to trade our van in for another one. However, we decided to wait a bit longer. Maybe another year or so.
* Getting excited for our mini vacation coming up after the boys get out of school. We are all looking forward to a couple days away from the same ‘ol things.
*I did my first “paid” photo shoot last weekend. It was so much fun working with these two. A sweet Mom and her little baby boy. I know I have a long way to go but its fun and neat when I can do something that someone else enjoys. Brian wanted to learn some new things so he made me a website. It is nice to have a place to direct any clients to even though I do not intend this to be some growing business. I really don’t have the time to do anything big, and I don’t really want to. Its really more of a “hobby” thing for me. Although like I mention in the “about” page. I wouldn’t mind doing it here and there for a few people and make a little extra money on the side. I still plan to take classes and keep learning and improve.
http://www.simplyspring.net/ Here is my SIMPLY SPRING website. I do know that all the tabs don’t work, since we haven’t finished it up yet 🙂 The client log in page is neat. I uploaded all this gals pics and she can go in and log in with a password and see all the pictures and choose which ones she wants to order. Brian does a great job and he amazes me with his ability to do design. Its all so foreign to me!
