My Mom and I are slowing going through “Give them Grace”.  While there have been a few things in this book that we don’t always agree with.  This last chapter we did, was really good and I want to jot down a few things that really caused me to think as I parent my kids.  Brian and I spent some time discussing it as well. 

As parents we need to be in the WORD daily so that we can be ready and willing to SHARE Jesus everyday.  It should be something on our lips all the time.  Daily proclaim the message of Jesus.

We should be good out of GRATITUDE for what Christ has done for us. 

Tether EVERY aspect of parenting to the gospel message. 

Everything in life should be approached in the light of Jesus. 

Need to remind them of the promises of God.  If they are believers they need to know that promises He has made to love and care for them no matter what.  He’s not gonna leave them. 

As parents we need to pray daily and specifically for each of our kids.
