I have to say I was dredding taking Luke for his hair cut today. I didn’t want to go through another one of his melt downs. We talked about it yesterday and all morning. I told him that he would get a spanken if he pitched a fit like last time. I also shared with him how his cousin Matthew did not cry when he got his hair cut. I told him had to be big boy, and be brave. I prayed too that he would do good. Thank you Lord 🙂
Luke Samuel did an amazing job today. He sat like a statue! He was better than that Gregory and Adam!!
I had my cell phone and got some shots just because I was so shocked at how well he was doing! I know no one can really understand this unless you saw the way he behaved the last time! I guess Pop was with me, so he knows!!
He’s growing up so! He now brings us a diaper and asks for a diaper change. I think potty training is around the corner!
I am so glad that it went better this time. Ben had a bad experience once (got cut by the buzzer when he was about 3), and after that, for the next few years, he would FREAK OUT when getting his hair cut. He would not act up, but he would cry really loudly and was just terrified. It took awhile for him to trust that it would not happen again. I HATED taking him to get his hair cut during that "phase."
He is certainly growing up!!
