Disneyland Day with Luke

Luke and I were able to go after church Sunday and spend the afternoon at Disneyland.  After going with Gregory in September, I was looking forward to going on some of the more calm rides with Luke.  We got to Disneyland about 1:00 on Sunday and it was packed.  There were so many people there.  We started off our day with the Pirates of the Carribean ride, but had to wait over 20 minutes in the line.  We had also wanted to go on the Haunted Mansion ride since they had it decorated for Halloween, but the wait times were over 70 minutes and I figured half our day would be wasted standing in line for one ride.  So we then went on the Winnie the Pooh ride.

Then we headed to the train.  Luke really wanted to ride the train because he knew there were dinosaurs on the ride so we took the train around the park so he could see the dinosaurs.  I think that was the hit of the day for him.  We ended up riding the train three times.  I don’t remember riding that train that much in the past.

Here is Luke with his box of popcorn before we got on the train for the first time.

Luke was excited to get his Mickey at Disneyland

We were able to get someone to take our picture before we went on Small World.

Here is Luke at the end of the day with his Mickey and his new Goofy Hat.

The day was a lot of fun for both of us.  This is probably going to be Luke’s last time at Disneyland before he turns 3 (when we have to start paying for his admission into the park).  We didn’t get to do as many of the rides as I had hoped, but we still both had a lot of fun.
