-Kinda hot today, windy
-woke feeling really tired even though I thought I slept good (or so I thought).
-tried to get boys moving, some are much slower than others 🙂
-got a text from Faith…. she thought she was in labor…. early stages….
-Out of cream cheese for the begals, some were upset about that
-7:30 Boys off to school
-Luke and Gideon were busy for a while
-Close to 8AM Gideon was getting fussy and tired, so off to morning nap for him.
-Luke suffering from bad allergies and a bad cough this morning
-I get busy cleaning up from breakfast and doing some “random house pick up”. Caught myself wishing my house was just all neat and perfect like I want it to be. Hard for me to realize its never gonna be that way.
-Gotta figure out what’s for dinner, since my meal planning has been AWFUL these days!
-Got a little laundry done
-Sat down with Luke while he and “GIRL” watched Peter Rabbit. I tried to get some of my Bible
study done. Going through a great study by Beth Moore.
-Luke is grumpy and needy so I didn’t get to finish my study.
-Walked down to see Pop. Mom is in SD with Faith (waiting for their first baby to be born).
-10:30 midwife appt. Dropped the little guys off with Auntie Hope. Great appt today! Baby doing great
-Picked kids up at 11:10 then to Pop’s for lunch. He had meat burritos. Yum.
-Met Daddy at home at 12:00
-Luke wanted to nap on his bed today and wanted Daddy to tickle his back today.
-By 1:00 I’m finally getting to lay down for a much needed nap, I’m exhausted. 1:10 I hear Luke
having a cough attack. Throw up all over his clean sheets from coughing so hard!
-Needless to say…. no nap for me. Gideon had a good one though! Luke had a 20 min one.
-Me, still tired, which makes me emotional…..blah……
-Did more laundry (the throw up sheets)
-Still no dinner plans (feel so guilty about this…)
-Canceled Gideon’s therapy and Adam’s guitar practice for the day. Just couldn’t do it.
-Brian home at 3:30.
-We get pizza. I cut up a yummy watermellon too. 🙂
-never got to the sweeping and mopping i wanted to …..
-Got a shower while they went with Daddy to get Pizza. Adam watched Gideon while I was in the shower.
-Brian and Adam leave for Awana at 5:30.
-Gregory watched Gideon and Luke and I went down to see Pop and do a little clean up there.
-Home in time to read stories, pray and get Luke to bed.
-set up vaporizer for him in his room, he actually went to sleep pretty good tonight.
-I swept and mopped the kitchen.
-Adam informed me he needed his LAKER shirt for school tomorrow. Another load of laundry started.
-Brian came in early tonight 7:30, I was glad! Thank you Lord 🙂
-Adam had questions about the baby and how it comes out….. so we sort of had a discussion 🙂
-Brian pops out in the family room after laying Gideon down and says “lets go” and I looked at him funny…. the boys knew what he was up to, I didn’t.
-We hopped in the truck and ran up to Starbucks. He’s so sweet. Just to get out for a bit. We sat in the truck and talked for a few minutes. I really needed that!
-Got home and Gregory hands me a paper I have to sign for him to be able to take FAMILY LIFE sex ED class. Oh geeze! I thought this wasn’t until 8th Grade!?!?! Brian and I talked with the teacher for the 5th grade class and that was all good but this is more detailed stuff (at least I think).
-Now we had to discuss GODS idea for sex etc. (kinda unplanned but we’ve been praying about it) The talk went great! 🙂 But I still have to review the stuff they will teach in the class before MONDAY!? Why I didn’t get this paper sooner, I don’t know?!
-frustrated and praying about all that stuff! This day and age, we want to do the right thing and
TEACH him what God says about the gift of sex for marriage etc….
-Brian leaves on retreat TOMORROW!!
-trying to think of some fun things to do while he’s gone. Hate when he leaves 🙁 sniff sniff….
-Been following my sisters labor all day. Praying on and off for her.
-10:29 PM just realized I didn’t get the clothes in the dryer, got to because Adam needs that LAKER shirt for school. Thanks Brian for going out to do that……
-I’m sure I missed a million things………. LOL ……… but you get the gist of my busy day, and pretty much a lot of them are similar 🙂
I feel blessed though and thankful to be a Mommy and wife who can do all these things and be home to raise my little boys who are growing too fast. I do wish I could catch that daily nap though, that would help me out A TON!!!!!! 🙂
