Just easier to update the family and friends here (since I think most people check the blog, at least I hope….) We don’t get comments much anymore so I’m just hoping… ha ha……..

This morning after getting home from dropping the older boys off at school, Gideon took a fall out of the van.  I was in the back unloading the stroller (on my way around to the side).  Luke said he was trying to “catch” Gideon. Gideon not realizing that Luke would not actually be able to CATCH him… fell…. I didn’t see it so I don’t know how he landed.  I am guessing face forward.  OUCH and man was he crying! It hurt!

I picked him up and the crying kinda stopped for a few, his head went back and eyes rolled some.  This was sooooooo fast …. Like 10 ish seconds…. and then the crying came back.  I thought it was going to go longer.  So, I’m not sure at all if it was a blippy little seizure for a few seconds or if it was just him holding his breath.  I couldn’t tell.  When he came to after those seconds he cried for a while and then we were able to calm him down with oranges and some blues clues and eventually some outside play. 

I have a call in to Dr. Morrison to discuss it with her. 

I was getting so excited for Jan (the year date with no seizures) because we were going to wean him off his meds.  Gideon is always tired and can get really grumpy at times and I really think it might be the meds.  We were looking forward to taking him off.  Not sure if Dr. Morrison will think it was a seizure or not.  If it was… it was a quickie!

A few more updates:
We still have therapy for Gideon.  Speech, Physical and I forget the name of the other one.  They come to the house.  Its free until he’s 3. 

Gideon still does not talk much.  Lots of moaning and groaning.  He does say MORE with his fingers and ALL DONE.  He TRIES to say things (touch down, bath he has said)

We take him in next week for his 2 year physical and Titus 4 month physical.
