Moving on…….

Time moves on, life changes and seasons go by.

Our church is now seeking to find a full time Children’s director.  I knew when I started that once our church had the funds we would look for someone full time.  Someone who can come on passionately and bring our children’s ministry to a new level! The leadership offered me the job.  I’ve currently and for the past 8-9 years been the childrens director for Community Christian Church of Moorpark.  However, Brian and I know in our hearts that when we started a family that
my job, my calling, my priority would be at home with our children
and the leadership all knew this when I took this part time position as
Children’s director.  I want to be the one raising them, teaching
them and training them up in the Lord.  I think my family would
suffer if I chose to do a full time job outside the home.

I truly have enjoyed what I have been doing and really have a heart for our
kids.  I do love the passion I see with our leadership with the children’s
ministry.  A passion I have, but can not give FULLY to,
since my first and foremost calling in life is wife and mother.  I
would love to see our children’s ministries grow and be something
more as well.  I would love to see someone come on board full time
who loves kids as much as me, but can give fully to this ministry!

I love hearing Brian’s heart and passion about seeing kids come to
know the Lord and draw those families into the church as well.
Awana is a great ministry to do this and we are praying that this
possibly could be something again at CCC.  I thankful for all those praying
about this with us too. I would love to see more excitement from everyone 🙂  I
want to see everyone so full of the Holy Spirit and on fire for God
that ministries grow and people come to KNOW HIM!

The little bit of extra income that I got for my part time service was really helpful to our family.  Though we vowed to not use that money for bills we did set it aside for our vacations and Christmas gifts.   The part time income that I
have gotten from CCC has been a true blessing for our family over
the years, and I’m thankful I got it by doing something that I
enjoyed doing very much.  I know God holds the future.  I know and
trust He will lead us into the direction we need to go for providing extra funds for our family.  Brian’s side computer business seems to be picking up somewhat and he is still looking into possibilities to build that up.  My photography business is very much on the side and I’m enjoying what I do, when I do it.  I think I could boost business if I put the word out more.  I feel like its more of a word of mouth kinda thing.  Today my chiropractor said he was amazed at some of the photo’s of mine that someone showed him.  He asked for business cards for his office.  I thought that was nice.  I think a couple “jobs” a month would be great! At first I was concerned because we just put Adam in this expensive private school and my income was helping somewhat.  However,  I don’t need to worry about money.  God will take care of it.   As a sign to us, Brian got a phone call from a very special person and it was such a blessing to get a donation to help with Adam’s school.  We were just soooo grateful and just thanking the Lord for providing in wonderful ways!

  I look forward to
meeting who God wants for Community Christian Church and seeing how God blesses the ministry.
