My friend Jillian did some beautiful photo’s for us and I will try to share on a few posts over the next few days.  6 day old Annie Mae and as sweet as can be!

 Four of those six kids are 5 years old and UNDER! Three of them are in diapers! Wow.  That’s a lot of diapers.  That’s a lot of mess.  That’s just a lot! ha ha! Brian is awesome and has just pitched in to help with all the duties that comes with the little kids.  Lots of diaper changes and helping get them for naps and bed (sometimes that can be the most challenging thing to juggle).  It gets hard when its just me. I am beyond grateful for a partner that works together with me and doesn’t make me do it all!  The past two days naps seem to be different.  Gideon for some reason has started crying when we lay him down for nap or bed, which is very UNLIKE him.  Normally he’s running to go to bed.  He’s tired.  He’s just fighting it or something?! Mommy needs “nap time” hours more than they need a a nap sometimes!! They all seem to have colds and this wind and allergies sure don’t help anyone’s mood around here! I think Annie Mae has a sniffle too! Trying to keep Gideon and Titus out of her face is next to impossible!

 She’s a week old now.  The sweetest little baby ever.  She really is a good baby! The Bassinet is in our room and right next to my bed, which is nice. She sleeps with us too because I guess I’m just lazy.  After nursing, sometimes we both just fall back to sleep.  She loves to be swaddled in her blanket too.  She likes the tight feel of it still.  I can’t get over how much HAIR she has! Love it so much!! Hope it just keeps growing (after it falls out at 4 months….) Her lips.  Aren’t  they just beautiful!? She’s going to be tall probably like Gregory and probably look like Gregory and Luke (my guess). Oh and she LOVES her swing! The swing we’ve had since Gregory was a baby! Held up pretty nicely (14 + years).  

All the boys just adore her.  Its hard though.  Even though Titus and Gideon love her so, we have to really watch them and remind them over and over to be gentle and not squeeze too hard.  Ha ha! Trying to keep everything picked up is tough with lots of little hands going their own way too! We manage and try to keep things calm, organized and fun and focussed on the Lord!
