Luke,

Don’t ever forget all the little animals that you Pop and Granma would talk about.  Pop one time (with the help of Granma I’m sure) got you this little meerkat.  The other day Adam found it outside.  I guess you had been looking for it for A LONG time (you said a long time, but you haven’t had it that long…..) and you were over the moon when you saw it.  You ran back to your room to get a little red box with your name on it.  You were beyond excited about this little red box that you had saved on your shelf.  I asked you “what is that for”? And you said “Mommy, I’ve been saving this box.  I have been looking all over for meerkat to go in it.  Pop gave me meerkat in this little red box. “.  Luke, you also have a tiny blue bag on your shelf.  Pop let you “babysit” his little squirrel and put it in that blue bag and he wanted to to keep that blue bag, he told you to keep it safe, so you could return the little squirel to him in it.

Oh how I wish you had gotten more time.   I know everything is in GODS TIME, but I do wish you had gotten more time with Pop your buddy.   I don’t want you to forget him and all the memories you made with him.
