Something not so great turned out to be a little blessing for Mommy.
Loaded up the car with all 6 kids (not always a simple task). Off to school. First dropping off Luke today since I am suppose to walk him in and left the older boys in the car with the little ones. Luke forgot his beloved opossum and alpaca mini stuffed animals that he wanted desperately in his backpack. After a little convincing that I would bring them back after I dropped off everyone he decided to go with me into class. He was cute with his little red smelly roses for his teacher too.
Didn’t really want to go all the way back and now to not have someone in the car I would have to unload and unbuckle them all. My finger is bruised and swollen, so this is something I wasn’t looking forward to doing an extra time. Brian ended up popping in the car so I could make the quick stop off at the school. So thankful.
I went in the office. Signed in and proceeded to his class. He was sitting on the carpet nicely playing with his new friend Samuel. He talked of Samuel yesterday. I was glad I got to see him having a fun and enjoying his new class!!
I put his animals in his backpack. Kept my word and he was thankful. Can’t wait to see him at 11:30
