Our anniversary landed on the big Santa Paula game Friday Sept. 18th. So we had to just do a little brunch date that morning and then together we went over some really good questions to get us thinking about our marriage and our life together and our walk with God. It was a good time. We wanted to have more of a celebration and a get-a-way this year. So we went to SLO and the Apple Farm. It was a really nice treat to get away on Sunday and Monday.
Our friends Rocco and Yaneth took our kids to the church picnic and Brenda (our pastors wife) took Adam after Sunday School.
Our trip was nice.
Mostly just RELAXING which is what we needed.
Brian said “Its nice to just be here, and NOT THINK”. Ha ha ha ha. Just being gone and not having the responsibility with life and the kids and all that. It was nice. It was short. It was good.
My Pie Plate broke a while back and i don’t have one anymore. This was the most perfect perfect thing I saw and we got it. A new pie plate. Perfect saying for our life right now! My mom gave us money to get some things and this was a treat to find!
Breakfast in bed…. the best. and our little princess loved it too!
We stayed in the mill house on the 2nd floor. So beautiful.
facetimed the kids at home. Gideon was so cute saying “I LOVE YOU”
We ate a lot while we were gone! So much fun getting to get a way together and enjoy celebrating 16 blessed years!
