We went to Granma’s to do our annual “wassle” and decorate her tree and have thanksgiving left-overs. It was a fun time. All these “firsts” without Pop are really challenging and sad though. Since 2000 (Gregory’s first Christmas) Pop has been giving a Christmas ornament to the grandkids. He would sign them and give them out. He started off going to Green Thumb and choosing these LARGE extravagant ornaments. As the family grew it got to be too much money. So they started getting them in a catalog. Last December/January Pop and Granma looked through the catalog and Pop picked out the ones he wanted to give to the kids for this Christmas. He would sign them, date them too. This year the plan was for him to wood burn on the back of them. Never got done. Granma signed them LOVE POP (they were from him). These will be the last ones.

Annie Mae Marion got elfed this year too! She really loved her elf and didn’t want to give it to Granma to put on the tree!
