Getting away to the cabin is just what we needed. It was so much fun relaxing as a family. Can’t wait to go again!

The creek was the best part. The sound is just amazingly relaxing. We all enjoyed exploring in the creek and floating sticks, making damns, looking for fools gold and throwing rocks. We could have spent days in the creek alone!

Getting away and “unplugging ” from the world was so nice. It’s needed. We realized as a family we need to be INTENTIONAL about less “screen time” as well.
Gideon LOVED collecting PINE CONES
We had church on Sunday on the deck by the creek! Perfect church setting 🙂 Each of the boys brought a rock home as a reminder of something they are gonna work on and they each placed a rock there at the creek too. Adam says SELF CONTROL, Luke says sharing, Titus said being nice to Gideon. I don’t know what Gregory and Gideon’s were. What a neat thing to do tho.
