Been having some early mornings with our girl!! Like 2 AM!!! She just wants some extra cuddling I guess!!
Helps me to get up and get some study time in though!

I’ve been going through this awesome study called “Discerning the Voice of God”. Its really great! I’m really loving it!
A few key points I learned from the first week
I need to approach God with EXPECTING Him to answer and show me. I need to PRAY about things, then wait, keep plugging away but truly expect that He will show me or answer in His perfect way. I’m gonna grow during that waiting time (this is hard to remember….. ) He’s working on me during that time of WAITING to hear from Him on whatever thing thing might be. He’s growing me more like Him if I’m letting that happen.
Sometimes we want more IMMEDIATE answers (like everything in life…. quick, fast and RIGHT NOW)…. but God doesn’t work like that. He wants me walking in daily obedience, and listening for Him, and not running ahead and doing it “my way” because I want it done NOW.
If we ignore His leading we will miss out on blessings! Listen to that still small voice and do what He says. NO matter how small! For me lately its “stop what you are doing” and go do this with the kids or Brian…..
Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 is really good and WOW verse!
Sometimes our busy life and drowned out the voice of God. We have to carve out time to be alone with Him!
Prayer
Meditation
His Word
and
Worship
is where I’m going to hear His Voice! Practice listening to Him while I’m doing mundane tasks through the day. Be purposeful and invite the Holy Spirit to speak…. concentrate on Him.
Let the Spirit lead my prayer life. He will bring specific things to mind.
