For a while now I’ve had a yucky feeling in my gut about something.
VACCINES. Yup. VACCINES.
All my kids have had them! I’ve always been Pro Vaccine. Always trusted my pediatrician, who was also Brian’s dr when he was a boy! I still really like this Dr.!! He’s great with the kids and always seems ligitimatly caring and concerned for my kids.
However, I don’t know if its because I’m realizing Gideon is coming up on Kindergarten (hopefully) next year or what?! But I’m un-easy about it. Here is why.
Nov 1, 2011 he had the DTAP
Dec 7, 2011 he had the DTAP
Jan 9 2012 he had the DTAP
Jan 23, 2012 seizures started
he had more episodes in Feb. as well.
Jan 3, 2013 DTAP
Jan. 22 had a seizure that lasted 3 1/2 min
that was his last seizure (so far).
He’s off medication for seizures. He’s still behind. He’s still working on speech things. He’s still not potty trained. He’s not completely where a five year old should be. There is something different about Gideon, I can’t put my finger on it. I’m not saying that is a BAD thing or that I don’t think God allowed for this to happen to Gideon for any particular reason. Gideon is a HUGE BLESSING in our life and we love that little red head more than ANYTHING! I’m not even saying that the epilepsy happened because of the shots. I’m also not saying that the shots had nothing to do with it. It could have! It really could have. He is due for another one. For sure before he starts kinder. We have recently been looking into a few bits of research and talking people about vaccinations. We recently watched the movie VAXXED. Highly recommend looking at that film. Oh my goodness it was so eye opening, we couldn’t believe it! It so just WOW to us about how the love of money can be so evil in this world, even to the point of allowing things to possibly happen to children. It really comes down to that. Q and A this is also very eye opening. She is in the film and this is a Q and A about vaccines.
We are looking into everything right now as we are starting to not feel comfortable with vaccinations. Its very hard right now because California is making it mandatory to vaccinate your kids or they can’t go to school. I think we might be able to get medical exception but we have to find out if our Dr. will do that. We may have to find another dr. At this point we aren’t sure what we are going to do. We are praying and asking God to help guide us!
