Dr. Gold wanted us to get a hold of Tri Counties Regional Center just in case Gideon needed some help with developmental things, being that he had seizures.  Dr. Gold is a great Dr. and we really like him.  He’s just over cautions sometimes.  I’d rather that though, then not enough.  Its a long process so we started.  I made the call last week.  They came today to get information.  They didn’t do a long assessment of Gideon today.  However she did notice that Gideon is using his feet/legs to roll over instead of his trunk.  Whenever we try to sit him up he doesn’t use those muscles at all really.  He could just be late on things.  I’m not really worried.  This might end up being a good thing though.  A different person comes out again and will bring stuff, observe him and then write up a report.  If he is accepted (the lady today thinks he will be).  We then will have a physical therapist come out and give us tricks and exercises to help develop those muscles.  Gideon is growing like a weed.  He’s a happy sweet baby.  He’s got 5 teeth that I can see now.  He rolls all over the place  and looks like he’s trying to get up on his knees too.  He enjoys his baby food and nurses all the time too still.

Gregory’s baseball team are the CHAMPS!! So looks like they will be having a few more champion games.  We aren’t sure when those games are or if we will be around for them.  We have a few things planned this Summer already.  His last game is going on tonight.   He hasn’t got to play as much as he would have liked to.  Some of the older kids on the team get to play more it seems.  He’s having fun though.  Didn’t get to pitch any this year.  However, didn’t seem to bother Gregory as much as I thought it would have.

Boys out of school June 7th!

We don’t have HUGE vacation plans this Summer.  We are hoping to make it to Santa Barbara to go to the museum.  They have a neat dino. thing going on until Sept.  Brian has a little mini weekend trip to Dunsmir to stay at a train caboose place.  Brian and I are going away for one night while Grandma Hoefler is visiting.  A couple VBS weeks planned to attend.  This will be Gregory’s first year helping out in ours instead of getting to go and be apart of it all.  He’ll be a great one to serve in this ministry.  Hopefully we’ll do our annual BEACH DAY too.  There is talk that my dad might pay for Gregory to have some golf lessons.  That’s going to be fun for him.  I’m sure the boys will spend lots of time in the pool too.  I can’t believe I’m even writing about SUMMER plans.  Wow, is it really that time?
