One of my all time favorite things, rocking my sweet baby to sleep.

Sitting in the quiet.  Both babies napping.  Birds outside chirping.  Clock, tick tocking. All to which are gifts and I’m thankful for. 
Had a wonderful Bible study time today.  Much needed this time.  Just me and HIM.  God is awesome.  I’m so thankful to Him and for the journey in this life that He has taken me on so far.  In my study today in James, I’m realizing just how much God has truly blessed me.  He gets all the glory! James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”.  All the good and great things He gives comes from Him.  Yes, there are hard times in this life too, but even during those times there is always blessings upon blessings.  God pours them out and lifts us up during those very dry times.  He does! I love that.  In Deuteronomy it tells us to REJOICE in all that God has given.  A quote in the study I’m doing “He is perfectly acquainted with every circumstance in our lives and every cell in our bodies.  He knows what we need.  He knows what we crave.  He knows a good gift for us when He sees one and has a goal for every perfect present He sends down to us from Heaven.”

I want to look at each day and take note of all the many blessings and give Him more praise and glory.  Today I’m thankful for flowers.  It was so much fun and made memories going out to my brothers old house and picking the lupines.  Luke was enjoying it so much.  We got to see a deer cross the path, a coyote on the mountain, rabbits, big black bumble bees, horses and it was such a pretty day to go pick.  I’m thankful that my Mom’s bad knee is now better and seems to be healing wonderfully since her surgery. She was able to get around better as we picked.  A blessing.  I’m thankful and praising God that I got a little more sleep last night.  That was nice.  I feel so incredibly blessed to have four sweet boys and a super wonderful husband.  They are all gifts from a above to me and I praise the Lord for each.
