Updates on the Krafty Gang

Gregory has already had several baseball games.  He’s enjoying it but I think he liked basketball better.  He’s getting so tall.  Like gonna shoot up taller than me very soon.  He loves to shoot hoops daily outside.  He sold his bike to Adam (for a deal) and is saving for a bigger one for himself.  Adam is hoping to get a little bucket/basket for his bike.  We think Grandma Hoefler will help with making one.

Still enjoying our spring break.  Haven’t done anything extremely exciting except for Golf n stuff last Sat and all the Easter fun.   Its nice to just be home and hang out.

Can’t believe this school year is almost over.  Seriously?!?!  Its middle of April already.  Crazy! Hope and I visited a third grade class and wrote our letters requesting a teacher for Adam/Abigail next year.  Seems like the new principal is accommodating.  I’m glad because I really didn’t want Adam to have the 3rd grade teacher Gregory had.  Not a good combo!

Both boys are finishing up their Awana books.  I think Adam only has about 7 sections left to pass.  They have done a great job at memorizing scripture.  I wish I would have done better in Awana growing up.  They amaze me at their ability to memorize.  The big GRAND PRIX is coming up next week! Both boys will race their cars.  Should be a fun time.

I finished my 2nd online photography class.  I learned a lot and really enjoyed it.  As I have time I like to continue to learn.  Brian is making me a photography blog so I can have a place to post just those more artistic fun kid shots instead of just filling this blog with them.  I don’t really have a desire to have a business at this time, but maybe someday.  Right now I don’t have the time, nor do I want to do it as a job.  I have a busy job as it is 🙂   I love just capturing my own kids.  I don’t mind doing it here and there for family/friends though, so it will be nice to have a separate place to show the kind of pictures I can do.  A fun hobby for me.

Luke amazes me.  He is sooo smart for a 2 year old.  He pretty much knows the basic colors now.  We love to hear him talk.  The other day I was asking him something and out of blue he says “no tank you” and he always says “thanks” and if we says “thanks” he replies with “your welcome”.  He still has this love for dinosaurs, soap, and trains.  The soap thing is too funny.  We were at my Mom’s tonight and I wondered where he was, he was back in Pop’s bathroom getting the bar of soap off the counter to bring home.  He’s so funny.  I need to tackle potty training soon.  I know he would “get it” quickly (at least I think he would….) I just need to take the time.

Adam does this new thing now.  Twiddles his hair.  Whenever he’s tired or just laying around with no hat on, he twists it up on the top?! We are constantly asking him to stop! Its like a new strange habit! He’s doing well in school, even though he’d much rather be riding his bike, rope swing, clubhouse or playing!

Gideon is growing like a weed! My sweet baby will be out of the bassinet soon since he’s rolling over and propping his feet on the sides.  We think we will put a pack n play in our room for a while.  Luke hasn’t made the move to the toddler bed yet.  He still has not climbed out of the crib which is nice. Gideon has one tooth poking through on the bottom and gums are swollen, chewing on everything.  He’s still not sitting up.  All my boys by 7 months were trying or sitting up.  Luke was at 6 months.  Still loving his red hair, and adorable smile.  He loves his Hugs show and Debbie Boone.  Its so cute.  Still gets in our bed once at night or early in the morning to nurse and sleep.

Brian still has his ever growing list of projects around the house.  One we hope to finish this weekend is plant our small little garden.  Hopefully we can do that Saturday.  We are also hoping to get cabinet doors on the cabinet in the laundry room, and shelves in the boys closet, and finish our white fence in the front yard.  Just a few of the things we hope to finish up soon. Brian is going to the Men’s retreat at the end of April.  I’m excited for him to get to go for the learning and fellowship. Not looking forward to being home with all four alone for a few days.  Guess makes me appreciate my sweet guy all the more!

Well….. Gideon needs me now….. so I gotta run……..
