My little Luke Samuel,
Where or where has this year gone?? I honestly can not believe you are turning TWO! I got pregnant with your little brother Gideon shortly after you turned a year, and it just flew by! You make us laugh everyday. You are the clown in the family for sure! Always want the attention, and always want a laugh and you pretty much get it everyday! I can not believe you are still in you crib! Gregory and Adam had escaped by the time they were 21-22 months so they moved to a big twin bed. I can’t imagine you in a big bed. We did just buy you a toddler bed and you will get it for Christmas this year, we have to start getting you used to it so when Gideon moves out of our room and in with you, he will need the crib. At night you hate covers! You don’t want a pillow and you don’t want anything touching you. After you read books in your bed or play with little things, you shove them to the bottom of the crib or throw them out. We try to cover you before we head to bed, but by morning those blankets are on the floor, where you have thrown them out. Strange little guy! You LOVE your Mommy and Daddy, but you are sooo close to your DAEEEE (you don’t just say Da anymore, but its DAEEEEE). You ask for him when you wake, and when its bedtime, Daddy has to tuck you in! You will often need us to tickle or rub your back when you go to bed. You love books and love us to read to you. You love playing with your brothers, you even love to wrestle with them. You are a great little guy. So helpful with Gideon, so loving! We thought you’d be sooo jealous, but you are overprotective instead. You want to help by bringing the pacifier, or diapers, or rattles. You talk so sweet to Gideon too. Its precious. You two will be the best of buds! Every morning you play in your playpen for a while, and you always enjoy that. Potty training is just around the corner. You come to tell us when you need to go or have gone. Wow, growing up so fast! You are such a sweet guy when it comes to prayer time. You love to hold hands , but you like to watch everyone with your head bowed, and will scold anyone with their eyes open. You scold us all if we are doing something you think we shouldn’t. You are stubborn and sort of bossy too. Bossy especially to cousin Matthew and brother Adam. Constanly telling them NO. Dinosaurs are you absolute FAVORITE. Grrrrrrrowling everyday. You just love them so much. Especially T-Rex or open mouth ones with teeth!! None of your brothers were ever into Dino’s! Luke, we love you so much! Praying for you daily that one day you will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
