Things have a been a little busy around here with FOUR boys. I’m trying to get used to having two sooooo close in age, something I’m not used to. Gideon is one that WANTS TO BE HELD when he’s awake too, which makes it tough to get things done. I think God is wanting to teach me something though. I’m realizing it more and more that He wants me to slow down and just be a wife and a Mom and not stress so much over other things. He wants me to slow down and take more time to spend rocking my baby, holding him and enjoying this time. It is tough at times though because I need to be able to set him down for a time (to make dinner, pick up a little, do my Bible study etc…), and sometimes he won’t sit but 5 mins. in a bouncer or swing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Brian’s Mom got here Sunday night (our 12th anniversary…. I plan on doing a post about that soon, when I get a moment). She ended up getting the stomach flu that night. So I spent most of yesterday(in between baby things..) deep cleaning and bleaching everything, to TRY to help the rest of us NOT get it. So far, so good. I’ve been sick with what the boys had (cough/ throat). I think Gideon gave it to me! Brian seems to have a touch of it. Thankfully Cheryl is better and back visiting us until Thursday.Gideon is doing better with the cough. He’s sleeping pretty good at night and for naps. He’s growing like a weed (just like them all). Gregory and Adam will start AWANA on Thursday night. Brian goes on a Men’s retreat this weekend. He’s looking forward to the fellowship and good Bible teaching. We are excited for him too, but I’m really not looking forward to him being gone. We all miss him so much! Above picture: Luke loves to pull out the baby bath and sit in it.
