Homeschooling isn’t easy by any means! Its actually really hard some days! I’m finally feeling like I’ve got a groove though! We’ve got a daily/weekly plan set up that really helps us! I’m loving the GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL for Language Arts for these guys! Its so open and go and just has a real Charolette Masson feel to it that I really love! We took a small break from 100 Easy Lessons for Gideon and Titus and have moved on to this other for a time to see how Gideon and Titus like it. So far its winning in more fun and enjoyable. It has all the Language arts rolled into one! Gideon is using Math U see for Math and Handwriting without tears for writing. He’s doing so good! Titus is keeping up with him. For history for Luke and Adam we are using good books from BEAUTIFUL FEET curriculum and love it! Its awesome reading all those books and getting through so many good quality novels in a year! I don’t think the Public Schools read books like this. Its so fun to see the list of all the books we’ve already read and its ONLY DECEMBER!! Saxon math for Luke and its going great. We just switched to a new Math (Principles of Mathematics Biblical Worldview Curriculum) for Adam to see if he might “get it” a little better. I understand we sometimes have to switch things up some.
For our little guys we are also doing FIVE IN A ROW which I’m loving too! We take one book a week and read it 5 days in a row and discuss different things and do different projects. Its so fun!
