| OUR AWANA GRAND PRIX was last night. This is the first time our Awana has done this. Brian and I lead our Awana group at our church. We borrowed a track, and next year will make our own. Gregory and Adam each made their own car. We had to help shape them and sand them a little, but they did most of the work and they turned out great! |

| Each kid got to race three times. Brian had it set up in heats. It was a neat set up and great fun for the kids. Adam ended up winning first place for the fastest car!! And Gregory got second place. Everyone was joking that it was rigged since our kids won. But it wasn’t. We told everyone how to get the wheels to spin good, so it wasn’t a big secret! |

| Before the race we had a team of judges come in and judge the best DESIGN and Gregory got first place for that. Both the boys came home with trophy’s and yes, they were pretty proud and excited. It was a very fun night! |
