Feeling really busy lately and haven’t had time to post lately!

• Adam is loving Karate! I will have to remember to bring my camera this week and get some cute pictures of him. He has a tournament in town on Oct. 2nd. He is just doing a small thing, but he is so cute with his “keeee yaaaa”
• Adam isn’t one for school! He often times doesn’t want to go. He’d play on the playground all day long if it was up to him!
• I go in to help in his class every Wed. morning. The teacher has a combo class and seems to really need parent helpers. I’m thankful Luke can nap at my Mom’s so that I can help for a couple hours.
• Gregory started his GATE pull out program at school last week and is excited to be learning about inventors, and I think he’s going to be working on an invention. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
• He’s been collecting post cards from all over the country THANK YOU to all who have send him a card!!!! They are doing a class project and I think Gregory has got quite a few states already!
• Awana started back up last Wed. Both boys are very excited about this year and already working hard in their books, on their Bible memory verses. I love how Awana challenges them to hide God’s Word in their hearts.
• We’ve slowly been reading through Pilgrims Progress and are almost done. Been a great book. Looking forward to moving on to some on the lamplighter books as a family.
• Luke is on the go! He’s just crawling fast all over. Pulls himself up on everything. I won’t be surprised if he walks soon. He’s still a nursing baby and also loves yummy food too (whatever we are eating ground up or finger food style). He’s pretty shy around strangers now. Sort of hit a more only wants Mommy stage lately. He cried a lot last week at Awana when he went in the nursery.
• Brian continues to plug away at making our laundry room a “real room”. He’s doing a great job. Hoping its done by November. We shall see. I think we have paint colors picked out. Now to just finish the walls, primer, paint, flooring, cabinets built…….
• I’m loving The Mission of Motherhood book I’ve started going through. Also still loving Psalms. I have decided to take a break from Monday night woman’s study this time around since Luke is still little and I nurse him before bed. Just the season of life that I’m in right now. I’m learning to not take on so much. I think sometimes Americans can take on soo much and get so busy they loose sight of what is really important in life! I’m thankful for a core group of ladies that I study with on a Women in the Word blog.
• Brian’s Bible study on Thursday starts in October I believe. He’s looking forward to that. He’s working his way through Romans right now and really enjoys that study time in the mornings.
• Brian and I are celebrating 11 years of marriage on Sat! Can’t believe its been that long! 🙂
• Really want to give this blog a face-lift, but haven’t had time lately.
