Summer Reading

Started a little summer reading program for the boys. Once they read five books, and do a book report with drawing they get to pick from the goody box I have. Gregory has to read 5 chapter books, and one has to be a true story. He really wants some titles of some good books (age 9-10 yr old appropriate), please comment with any suggestions! Adam has to read through 5 books (that he can read) to me or Brian at least two times through.

Adam and Gregory are so different! Gregory LOVES to read! He’s already read 4 books since Summer has been out! Adam really doesn’t care about reading that much. Takes a little more work to get him to read 🙂

Today we went to the Camarillo Library and picked out a few books. The boys wanted to sign up for that Summer reading program too. That was fun.

I know I did the summer reading program at the library some summers back in the day…like Gregory I couldn't read enough!! 🙂 Unfortunately though most of what I was reading at his age was The Babysitter's Club, and I am quite sure he would not be interested in those at all!! 😉 haha

I think Hank the Cowdog and Beverly Cleary might be a little young for him. I am thinking of some he might enjoy, I'll come back and post.
