Tonight is the first night Gregory and Adam have their OWN rooms! First night for Gregory in six years that is. We switched up the rooms today. Gregory asked a few months ago to have his own and we agreed to do it closer to when we would move Luke Samuel to the crib.

So tonight: Adam is on the top bunk (Gregory’s old bed) in the same room, the crib and dressers, and changing table is in there. Gregory is in his new room (the one we had for Luke), on Adam’s old bed. He needs a desk, or book shelf or something in there for his stuff to set on. His room is a work in progress, but he’s excited.

Although, I must say its sort of emotional for me as a Mommy (am I weird, or is this normal?) … all these little steps of them growing up. And then to see Gregory getting all teary eyed this afternoon about moving into his own room. He’s a very sentimental little guy and was a bit melancholy about it. Though, at bed time they were both all smiles and having fun!

As for Luke, nope….. still in the bassinet in our bed room! I just don’t want to move him yet. Though, yes, he is getting too big for the bassinet. So I’m sure he’ll be moving in with Adam soon!
