Brian worked really hard with our new TV and trying to get it mounted correctly. We have a few more things to do, and soon it will be in right. Being 6 foot 3 inches and crawling around on his side in the attic isn’t an EASY task for sure!! So after a hard day of all that We had a wonderful date night tonight. Went to one of our favorite seafood places tonight in Ventura. They bring us the food. I ordered my favorite ALASKAN KING crab legs (yum!!) I like them at this place because they split them open for you and they are easy to eat. However, the salad on my plate had a wet paper towel in it. I told the waitress and she took my plate to bring me out a whole new plate. Then with the second plate part of one of the legs was COLD, like freezing cold. I told the waitress again “I don’t want to complain or mention this but this part is really cold”. She took my plate again, apologizing a ton and saying it wasn’t acceptable at all. Brought me out a salad, and asked if I like Lobster. I don’t remember ever having lobster. She said she was bringing me out crab legs and lobster! Brian is eating slow and enjoying his steak and veggies. We were getting a pretty good laugh about it the whole time. They bring me out crab legs first, and then a WHOLE lobster meal with veggies and salad too. Oh my gosh! I couldn’t think of eating all that! We got “doggie bags” and brought home leftovers for my brother Levi! She came and told us the whole meal was on her and she gave me a hug and apologized again! We left her a tip and went on our way! A fun time we’ll always remember for sure! Hey, who can forget a free meal, especially one that would have cost more than our “normal” date nights!
