Things are moving along nicely! Brian and I are going this afternoon to order the upper cabinets (they will get delivered tomorrow). And go to Lowes to get some things that we need to finish up. One of our Organic Ag workers will be coming to install the cabinets on Friday and Sat and do the plumbing stuff for the sink and dishwasher (wow, I’m gonna have a dishwasher!! Never had one before!!) He will also do the dry wall stuff. Brian is going to do some painting prep before Awana tonight. Tomorrow a lady from church is coming to paint and then Friday after work will be a paint day too.

Monday the floor guy is installing the floor and Tuesday our carpet comes! Yesterday the ceilings got finished and the window in the kitchen was installed. Dan has been amazing and we are so blessed and appreciative to him for all the work he’s done for us with the framing etc.. He’s coming back on Sat. to hang the back door. We couldn’t get a “pre hung” door so it might take a little more work to get it in.

A little schedule we made up
Today: Prep work for the painting in back two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Electrical should be “roughed in” so that we can drywall the kitchen (will try to finish peeling wallpaper off the kitchen walls)
Thursday: Painting in the back. Remember the ceilings need to be painted first
Friday: Finish painting in the back of the house and hallway. Otillio will be there to hang and patch all drywall including baby’s room and living room. (we may want Willie to come later to texture the walls after all the drywall is hung.)
Saturday: All of the cabinets should be installed (upper and lower). Dan will be there to hang the back door. We can paint the baby’s room, family room, and living room while everyone else is working
Sunday: Painting the kitchen (all painting needs to be finished today before the flooring comes in)
Monday: Laminate Wood Flooring installation
Tuesday: Carpet Installation
