I just love that our little hens are laying. Well not all of them. But we’ve got two red silkies that lay just about daily right now. I don’t think our frizzle has started laying yet and Mayor our green egg layer has stopped. They do normally stop during the “winter” but I think our red hens don’t realize its winter. Goodness, I’m in shorts and a T-shirt today so I don’t even know it is winter here!

Anyway…. the boys enjoy collecting them (especially Adam). He’s the one that collects eggs the most. Its neat not having to buy eggs (lately anyway). I would love to get to a point where we could give eggs away, but they don’t do that much yet. We don’t have anymore roosters. Just four hens now. Hopefully these four stick with us a while! We do plan to take them when we move!
